Every so often I like to make a list of my current favorite things.  I do this because my favorite things change all of the time (hence the fickle reference at the beginning), and I like to remember what things interested me most at certain moments in my life.  Except for Harry Potter.  Harry Potter will ALWAYS be my favorite.

In making this list, I was going to do a top 3, but then some categories seemed to need a top 5, but then some categories had barely anything in them so coming up with 5 would have been too hard and meaningless, so my lists of favorite things are just what they are, without any real sense of order.
