I love that there are temples on the earth. Temples are the house of God, and they are very sacred and holy buildings. In temples we can worship God and make covenants with Him that will help us return to live with him again. When a man and a woman get married in the temple, it is an eternal marriage, their family can be together for eternity. Temples are a special place where we can feel God’s love for us and we can gain a better understanding for His plan for us here in this life. I love that I can go to the temple. There is a temple here in Boston that I can attend, and it is a wonderful building. The temple in Portland, Oregon will probably always be my favorite temple because it is where I grew up and I have so many fond memories of that beautiful building. The Salt Lake City temple in Utah is probably one of the most famous temples in the world, people from all over the world recognize it. I’m also very excited because they are starting to build a temple in Rome, Italy! I have many friends in Italy who have been waiting for a long time to have a temple in their own country, and this is so wonderful for them! I can’t wait to see what the building looks like when it is done! I know temples are the house of God and there is such a special spirit when we visit them!
Io sono molto grata che ci sono tempi nel mondo. Un tempio è la casa di Dio, ed i tempi sono edifici molto sacri e santi. Nel tempio possiamo onorare Dio e fare alleanze con Lui che ci aiuterano ritornare a vivere con Lui di nuovo. Quando un uomo e una donna si sposano nel tempio, il matrimonio è eterno, e la loro famiglia può stare insieme per l’eternità. I tempi sono luoghi speciali dove possiamo sentire l’amore che Dio ha per ognuno di noi e possiamo ottenere una comprensione migliore del Suo piano per noi qui in questa vita. Amo che posso andare al tempio. Qui a Boston c’è un tempio dove posso andare ed è un edificio meraviglioso. Il tempio a Portland, Oregon probabilmente sarà sempre il mio tempio preferito perché Oregon è dove sono cresciuta e ho tanti ricordi molto speciali di questo edificio bellissimo. Il tempio di Salt Lake City in Utah è forse il tempio più riconosciuto nel mondo, persone di tutte parti del mondo lo conoscono. Sono anche molto emozionata perché si inizia adesso a costruire un tempio a Roma in Italia! Ho molti amici in Italia che sono stati aspettando per molto tempo per un tempio nel loro paese, è una opportunità molto speciale per loro! Non posso vedere l’ora quando sia finito e posso vedere l’edificio magnifico! Io so che il tempio e la casa di Dio e che c’è uno spirito molto speciale quando ci andiamo!
