Some British Life

I've been really bad at keeping up with my blog lately.  So here are a few things I've done in the past couple months.  First and foremost, as part of my birthday celebration, I went and saw David Tennant live in his latest Royal Shakespeare Company play, Richard II.  It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!  I can't even begin to describe how fun it was to see David Tennant!  He was phenomenal!  There were a number of other actors in the play who I didn't know beforehand, but also performed fabulously, so overall it was a lot of fun!  I couldn't take any pictures during the play of course, but I'm including some of the publicity shots just so you can better imagine the awesomeness of David Tennant in his long hair!

Another fun thing I got to do recently was go to a charity sale at the Nettlebed estate, which was owned by the grandfather of Ian Fleming (the guy who wrote James Bond).  The estate itself was really pretty, and it was fun finding a couple of treasures for cheap!

The past few days there has actually been some sun here, which is a nice change from all of the floods that have been happening lately.  I took advantage of the sun and took some pretty pictures of my surroundings!

Even the local Quidditch teams were taking advantage of some nicer weather:
You can't tell so much from the photo, but it's a massive tournament
I've also made a couple recent discoveries that have drastically improved my life.  One, a lovely little sushi shop near City Centre, and I've discovered that Primark sells the most adorable socks of all time!
